'CHHATH' is a festival of Bharat in which Sun with his wives Usha & Pratyusha is worshipped. It first started in Satyuga when Sukanya, the wive of Chyavan Rishi, kept the 'vrat' of Chhath for curing her husband from a curse of leprosy. Their Ashram was in Son Ghati in Bihar.
